I know, it happens to me all the time too. My trick-before publishing the post go into the 'view html' tab and adjust the spacing there. Take out all the 'div' and 'p' tags and adjust the spacing how you want it to look, just like normal paragraphs. I know it's html sacriledge but their html doesn't work and for some reason this works for me. Good luck!!!!
